We are excited to share some significant and exciting changes that have been taking place at Fratco. Rooted in our commitment to delivering the best quality drainage solutions, we’ve made some recent adjustments to better serve our customers who order products through our Francesville plant. While you might have encountered some of these changes already, we’d like to shed light on why we implemented them.
100 Years & Beyond
Fratco was proud to accept their Governor’s Century Award from Governor Holcomb earlier this month in Indianapolis. A century of service is defined by the people who provide it. For a multi-generational family business like Fratco, those people are a tight-knit yet ever-growing group. They’re bound together not by blood or creed but by a dedication to their customers.
Water Management Pros Gather for New Industry Expo
The first-ever North American Conservation and Drainage Expo (NACADE) made its debut in January of this year. For three days, the Hyvee Hall convention center in Des Moines, Iowa was abuzz with experts from every corner of the sector—all of them eager to network over cutting-edge research, age-old experience and strong-willed opinions on the state of the water management industry.
2021 Resin Shortage
Industry-wide, customers who rely on resin suppliers to manufacture pipe are facing challenges. After reasonably consistent and predictable markets in 2019 and 2020, the forecast for 2021 was more of the same. With Asia and Europe expecting weak demand, America’s exports to these regions were supposed to be fairly small, allowing domestic PE supplies from Houston-area producers to remain stable and steady. As the saying goes, a “series of unfortunate events” unfolded, dealing pipe suppliers unforeseen realities. Saying everything changed overnight in resin production is not an understatement.

As these unpredictable circumstances surrounding COVID-19 persist, our values are holding steady, which means our work to tirelessly serve our loyal customers continues.
